In today's efficiency-driven business environment, the ability to lead people and manage resources continues to be increasingly important. The focus of this business specialization in Management and Leadership is on developing the skills and competencies necessary to successfully manage people and organizations within a for-profit, nonprofit or government organization. Your course work will provide an overview of key business areas to increase your ability to effectively partner with functions across your organization, while building such management and leadership-focused skills as team collaboration, operations management, strategic planning, and change management. People who choose this specialization are often interested in pursuing team lead or supervisory positions in business, retail, government, or military organizations.

Set your sights higher while you earn your bachelor's degree. In Capella's Combined BS/MBA option, you could start earning master's level credit during your bachelor's program. General Education Requirements

To complete your bachelor's degree, you will need 45 quarter credits in general education subject areas with a minimum of 6 quarter credits from each category. We offer general education courses in communication, humanities, natural science and mathematics, and social science.

Residents of Arkansas must complete Arkansas general education requirements.
In compliance with regulations of the Kansas Board of Regents, Kansas residents starting any undergraduate program after January 1, 2010 will be required to complete 186 quarter credits in order to graduate.
