Business Administration specialization

Develop the breadth of management, interpersonal, and professional skills required to advance in today's complex business world. Focus your electives in such areas as finance, accounting, marketing, human resources, or leadership to design a program that meets your professional goals and needs. Others may want to choose a variety of electives to develop knowledge of many different areas of business, some with an eye toward starting their own business, others with a desire to use their skills in a wide range of industries, including health care, financial services, retail, and manufacturing. People who choose this specialization are often pursuing entry-level business positions or seeking to advance their careers in a variety of business functions and settings.

Set your sights higher while you earn your bachelor's degree. In Capella's Combined BS/MBA option, you could start earning master's level credit during your bachelor's program. General Education Requirements

To complete your bachelor's degree, you will need 45 quarter credits in general education subject areas with a minimum of 6 quarter credits from each category. We offer general education courses in communication, humanities, natural science and mathematics, and social science.

Residents of Arkansas must complete Arkansas general education requirements.
In compliance with regulations of the Kansas Board of Regents, Kansas residents starting any undergraduate program after January 1, 2010 will be required to complete 186 quarter credits in order to graduate.
