Public Safety Leadership specialization

With the field of public safety becoming broader and more complex, there is increased demand for public safety leaders who are knowledgeable on a range of public safety, criminal justice, and emergency preparedness issues, and have the business and human resources skills to effectively manage a complex organization. The master's-level specialization is designed to prepare you to handle the many facets of public safety leadership through course work that includes human development and behavior, organizational leadership, accounting and finance, and training and performance improvement. People who choose this specialization are often pursuing career advancement or consulting careers in law enforcement, fire services, emergency response, and other public safety professions.
