Educational Psychology specialization
Gain an understanding of the psychological foundations of education, instructional strategies and designs, psychological research, and stages of development for different age groups. You will have opportunities to acquire a broad base of information on learning outcomes, testing, research methods, and data analysis. People who choose this Educational Psychology specialization often plan to pursue faculty positions at community colleges, or managerial or specialist positions in education, training, testing, or research.

Courses without a PSY designation may be worth fewer than five quarter credits. Learners must carefully plan their elective courses to ensure that total credit requirements for the degree are met. Special topics courses in the Harold Abel School of Psychology can be used as an option to complete the total required credits needed for graduation.
