Position yourself for leadership at the postsecondary level with an online master's Higher Education Leadership and
Administration specialization that's designed around recognized professional standards. By choosing an emphasis in Higher
Education Program Administration or Community College Leadership, you'll focus your studies on building skills that align
with your career goals. You'll start working toward those goals right away by creating a professional development plan in
your first course. Using both theory and practical application, you'll strengthen your understanding of history; politics
and public policy; law and governance; finance and development; and program administration. People who choose this
specialization are often student and academic services professionals pursuing leadership positions at community colleges,
universities, or other public or private postsecondary educational institutions.
This specialization is not designed to satisfy licensure requirements for P–12 public school teachers or administrators.
