You need to be self-motivated to be successful online.

July 8, 2010Deborah Most instructors at Capella are great. I only have one course left in this program and must say, I've only had two instructors I did not like. Big difference from residental programs where I maybe liked two. However, you must be self-motivated. Instructors are willing to help, but unless your in real trouble, they will not know. You need to ask. They dont have the benefit of seeing you face to face once a week. Also, since most assignments have weekly deadlines not daily ones you need to develope good time management so you set aside so much time per day or you can get overwhelmed at the end of the week. This is your degree, your work, no one will babysit you here.

Motivation

July 10, 2010Linda With any learning that you do motivation is the key to your success in the program. With Capella the support staff is there to help and to keep you on the right path. My learning experience with Capella has be a great one. I have made new friends and gain knowledge from fellow learners as well. Meeting new learners within my field of study has allow me to understand differnt aspect of many organization and their behavior. I would in the future encourage my friends to attend Capella, the experience will take your education to the next level.
