Come and be a Capellian...

November 22, 2010Patricia I can't imagine a better learning environment online, other than the one that Capella University offers. I am so happy to be one of many "Capellians". Please don't miss out on the best learning experience of your life that will help to build your future...

Perfect for Busy Professionals

November 22, 2010Mary This program is perfect for people who are trying to juggle work, family, and school. The courses are designed so that you have the entire week to work on your school work. You don't have to be in class on one scheduled day like in a brick and mortar school. You can be "in class" when it fits YOUR schedule, even if its the middle of the night. I love Capella University, BUT, I would not recommend this program for any one straight out of high school. You don't get the same face-to-face interaction with your classmates as you do in a brick and mortar university. If you need the social interaction a classroom gives you, this program probably won't work for you.

I never thought I could do it

November 27, 2010Julie I can't say enough great things about my two years in the MBA program at Capella. I really saw the need to get my MBA and chose Capella to do so because I liked that it was project based not test based. The professors have a real passion for what they teach and really know what is going on in the world around them. The schedule is flexible and the entire school really seems to care. For all of you considering this school you are looking at something wonderful from the academic advising staff who are right there with you to some of my favorite professors, Cheryl Bann, Susan Lennox, Joseph LeVesque, Al Salinas and Lynn Szostek. Although this is an online environment I could pick up the phone and call these professors and they would answer any questions I had. Not to forget the wonderful staff at Career Services, especially Melody. They offer some excellent seminars and advice. Go ahead & sign up, you have nothing to lose.

Truly wonderful MBA Program

April 1, 2011Jeff I got my MBA with Marketing Specialization 3 1/2 years ago from Capella, and my career took off literally months into my degree and has continued ever since. I attribute that advancement to what I was learning and directly apply to my job. Literally, my salary has grown significantly as a result of several promotions, and personally/professionally I think and communicate more strategically not just at work, but all aspects of life. Capella is unlike any other education I've had before. In bricks-n-mortar schools, you can go to the lectures, glance over some readings, and take a test or BS your way through a paper. At Capella, you have to read, at least I did, end-to-end. Then you write, write, write. As a requirement, you have to read and respond to your other classmates. So you actually get to know these classmate better than I've ever known classmates in my undergrad. Meeting people at graduation, then, was then that much more exciting!!!

A dream come true

January 11, 2011Philip I always wanted to attent graduate school, and now I am a graduate student in Business at Capella University. I am enjoying the MBA Programn tremendously and I am gaining tremendous knowledge about business as it relates to the world around me. I love the Scholar Practitioner Learning Model with the interactive learning and the opportunity to gain valuable connections with faculty and learners alike.
