This doctoral specialization features a comprehensive core curriculum of research, strategy, leadership, and ethics, plus intensive coursework that emphasizes the global nature of business, the role of media and technological integration in marketing strategy and execution, and the many ways that culture influences consumer marketing. Expand your opportunities for collaboration, enrich your learning experience, and expand your professional network through meaningful connections with faculty and fellow students—in your courses, through specially designed social networking opportunities, and at face-to-face residencies. An optional international field experience is an invaluable component of the program, offering further networking opportunities and providing firsthand experience of the many ways culture impacts the challenges and complexities of global business operations. A prescribed course sequence, built-in dissertation milestones, and focused mentoring create a clear path toward completing the degree in 3 years. People who choose this specialization are often pursuing leadership, consulting, or teaching positions in the area of marketing.
Residency requirements: Three 3-day colloquia

- In addition to your online courses, you will attend three 3-day residential colloquia at specific stages in your program. These energizing residencies provide you with insights and knowledge that will be valuable during your DBA studies and beyond.
What do they cost?
The price for each DBA residency is included in your quarterly tuition, but doesn't include costs for evening meals or travel. You'll be responsible for making your hotel reservations and travel arrangements.
