Global Operations and Supply Chain Management specialization
Advance your knowledge of global operations and supply chain management while completing an applied dissertation project that allows you to make an immediate, practical contribution to your organization. The curriculum, which reflects the major knowledge areas of leading professional organizations, emphasizes global environment assessment; supply chain management strategy and functions; demand forecasting; and global logistics. Online courseroom discussions, specially designed networking sites, and face-to-face weekend residencies provide ongoing opportunities to build professional relationships and share knowledge with other business leaders around the country. You will also have the opportunity to participate in an international field experience, designed to provide multinational networking, increased cultural literacy, and a global operations learning experience. People who choose this specialization are often pursuing leadership, consulting, or teaching positions in operations, supply chain, manufacturing, purchasing, or related fields.
Residency requirements: Three 3-day colloquia

- In addition to your online courses, you will attend three 3-day residential colloquia at specific stages in your program. These energizing residencies provide you with insights and knowledge that will be valuable during your DBA studies and beyond.
What do they cost?
The price for each DBA residency is included in your quarterly tuition, but doesn’t include costs for evening meals or travel. You’ll be responsible for making your hotel reservations and travel arrangements.
